At MAAZ Travels LLC, we design unique adventure experiences around the world. We understand that sometimes travel plans change, and we do our best to accommodate cancellations and refunds fairly. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted.
1. General Conditions
All refund requests must be made in writing via email to [email protected].
Refunds are processed in the original payment method whenever possible.
Certain services (such as flights, permits, or third-party bookings) may be non-refundable as per our partners’ terms.
Refund amounts are calculated after deducting any non-recoverable expenses and administrative fees.
2. Cancellation by Traveler
a) More than 60 days before departure:
Full refund of the tour cost minus a 10% administrative fee and any non-refundable deposits paid to partners (airlines, hotels, etc.).
b) 31–60 days before departure:
50% of the total trip cost will be refunded.
c) 15–30 days before departure:
25% of the total trip cost will be refunded.
d) 14 days or less before departure:
No refund will be issued.
3. Cancellation by MAAZ Travels
If we must cancel a trip due to low enrollment, safety concerns, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control, travelers may choose between:
A full refund of the amount paid, or
Credit toward a future trip of equal value (valid for 12 months).
We are not responsible for additional expenses such as airfare, visas, or insurance purchased independently.
4. Changes to Bookings
Date or itinerary changes requested by the traveler may be subject to additional fees or price differences.
We will do our best to accommodate changes, but availability is not guaranteed.
5. No-Show Policy
If a traveler fails to show up for a trip without prior notice, no refund will be issued.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and trip interruptions.
Refunds are not provided for circumstances covered by insurance (such as illness, injury, or flight delays).
7. Special Non-Refundable Items
Certain fees, such as visa processing, park permits, or special expedition passes, are non-refundable once paid.
8. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are typically processed within 14 business days.
Bank processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
